Loft conversion and refurbishment of a Victorian house in Brighton
Status: In Progress
Blank Space have recently been appointed to assist with obtaining planning permission for a refurbishment and loft extension to a Victorian house in Kemptown, Brighton. Rather than designing the usual full width dormer extension, the client, alongside Blank Space, were keen to explore a more traditional appearance that would fit in with the character of the original building, which was designed by one of Brighton’s eminent Victorian Architects, Samuel Denman. Planning permission has since been obtained, with Blank Space now appointed to produce a full working drawing package for Building Regulations Approval and Tender, alongside assisting the client with the coordination of Party Wall Agreements. The project is due to start on site in August 2022.
